NO! I'm not insane, just desperate :-)
NO - I almost certainly won't do this again ever.
I just have no better way of getting hold of a useful number of awake people 
at this time of day (1:45am here)

Just got off the phone after a 1 hour talk to a desperately suicidal friend.
He says he's about to kill himself.
He moved house recently and wouldn't give me his phone number.
He has as good a reason to commit suicide as most.
I have no way of contacting him unless he goes to work tomorrow.
That may be touch and go.

SO

Anyone willing to pray briefly for his short term safety and long term 
resolution to his problems - please do.
His name is Terry.

Anyone who things this is a load of old codswallop, please be so kind as to 
ignore on this occasion and I'll try not do it again.

To make things worse I've just sic'd the police on him if they can trace the 
call.
