Is there a better way to charge/discharge them to a uniform voltage than just connecting a resistor and watching the voltage go down? As long as they are roughly the same age, and they are the same nameplate capacity, I wouldn't worry about it. A 10 ohm resistor is a perfectly good discharger for a single cell, and you can discharge a cell to 0V without permanent damage. It's not really needed though. You might try series connecting them, and charging at C/10 for 15 hours. That's a little bit of slow overcharge, and it should equalize the cells. _______________________________________________ http://www.piclist.com View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
