My boss installed SP2 without checking with me. It broke his email and PC anywhere connections, but ZA and AVG continued to work without problem. I had to go in and configure ICF to allow PC anywhere and the mailer secure ports to pass, but otherwise it was uneventful. On the other hand, many other administrators on campus have had many painful experiences. It seems to be a bit of a crap shoot at to what WILL be broken, so I'm still waiting for 'reports from the front' before I take the chance (I have lots of non-standard hardware). Make sure you create a system restore point and system recovery disk before installing SP2 since SP2 update failed to do so on at least one victim's machine, leaving it unusable.
