I'd never heard of Eclipse before that, but they all seem very impressed with it, calling it the "best" IDE for Java development. So from reading your note, I'd assume that Eclipse is an IDE that alllows plug-ins for various types of development and someone's workin' on a PIC plug-in. Cool.
