Thanks for your suggestions Bob -- I'll give them a try. With Option Strict
off, what I tried compiled ok, but did not work. Obviously I want Option
Strict On, so I'll try your suggestions as well as James'. Thanks again for
your help and for your time. Now, time to experiment...
