Hi Bob,

Not too worry, they have not. The origin of this thread was that I saw a
post on the Microchip Forums indicating that the ICD 2 *clones* *might* not
work with MPLAB IDE 7.0. I don't know how that poster would mention MPLAB
IDE 7.0 since it is not due out until around the beginning of December from
what I've heard from Microchip. It was irresponsible for me to start this
thread based on that speculative information, but I only did it as an
attempt at feeble humor: to me it just seemed funny if the poster's
statement was true -- it conjured up images of 'The Empire Strikes Back' and
'Attack of the (ICD 2) Clones'. I'm sorry.

Actually the good news is that Microchip made a post on the forums that
MPLAB IDE 7.0 will be the version where you won't need to download
thirty-something megabytes to get it.
