Haha, I always thought owning an airplane expressed something!  That 
the owner has  lots of money.  Heh.

A friend of mine owned a modest airplane (Cessna 172) with three other 
people once, splitting costs four ways.  They nicknamed it "The 
Blue-Bellied Money-Sucker."  ;-)
