That's kinda dependent on what you will be doing. If you are going to be making a saleable product or make it into a career then a scope is essential. If, like me, it's just a hobby and you are making stuff for your personal use (Or for friends) then a multimeter is an absolute must. One with a frequency range can come in handy.
