Hi, I ahve the EasyPIC (1) board. and their PICFlash USB programmer. I'm very happy with it and it has always sworked perfectly for me. I initially bought just the EasyPIC board and then found out it cannot be programmed from a laptop serial port or even using a USB to serial dongle due to the voltages being +- 8V and not the full +- 12V you get from a proper desktop serial port. So I also bought their USB programmer. It runs about 10-12 times faster than the normal serial method and it means I can put an ICSP connector in my projects and use the PICFlash USB to update code with PICs in place. The board and even the packaging is very professional and I went with them becuase I think the price is just about the best around. The board is great, the only comment I have is about the company (assuming its not just two guys in a shed!!). They took over six months to reply to my emails, which I repeatedly send every week. The phone number on their site was never answered, I even tried their ISP to get a message to them but no luck. When they finally replied they appologised and said they were a compnay of engineers and were far to busy designing and making stuff to check the email! I've not emailled them recently but I hope this is no longer the case. But all in all a great choice of board. Anybody has anything to say? Delivery time, quality of the kit, usability, etc. It seems that it comes with a USB programmer too, I'll have to check when it arrives.
