The first version of the boot loader for VSCP (Very Simple Control=20
Protocol - http://www.vacp.org) has been released. The code is based on=20
CANAL (CAN Abstraction layer) and is based on Microchip application note=20
AN247 with some small modifications to the firmware code to make it=20
suitable for VSCP.

The bootloader application is open source as both CANAL and VSCP and is=20
written in C++ using wxWidgets (http://wxwidgets.org). In the future=20
wxWidgets will be used for all CANAL/VSCP applications to get the same=20
appearance on the Unix, Windows and future Macintosh platforms.
