Hi, Does anyone know if any of the homebrew PIC programmers can program dsP= ICs? I was going to order a few mid- to high-end dsPICs for testing - obviousl= y no good if I can't get a low-cost programmer that supports them. Failing that, has anyone built an ICD2 clone from the schematics that a= re floating around? Is it worth building/buying an ICD2 instead of hacking t= he WISP628 firmware (and Wisp2) to program dsPICs? Also, if I do decide to buy an ICD2 (probably the =A390 base kit), am I= going to need to buy a power supply in addition to the ICD2, or is it capable o= f powering itself from the USB port? Am I going to need any other Mchip-proprietary bits (socket modules, adapters, etc) to use the ICD? Finally, are there any known glitches in the ICD2 that I should be awar= e of before I blow the best part of =A3100 on an ICD?
