Actually I don't consider memory bandwidth the limit at all. There is nothing to say that your memory has to be only as wide as the sample size, you could use 128bit wide memory and capture 2 8 bit samples at a time, meaning one memory access could store 8 samples, turning your 200MHz memory speed into 800MSps. Or, another similar way is to use memory banks, 4 banks of memory each selected in order.
