(1) You have your parents to thank for intelligence. You have them to thank for this genetic gift.

(2) Modesty, on the other hand, is built through character and is worthy of admiration.

(3) Olin has the first trait, yet lacks the latter and that's a shame. The combination is truely admirable.

Nobody likes to be publicly shamed, insulted or belittled by someone who's talents they admire. It's simply abusive whether the attacker is a parent, professor or simply a peer.

Olin's contributions were great. Hopefully, the contributions from all of those he had previously silenced will be as great.
