A common cable tracer (nickname - tone and probe, fox and hound, diddle stick) can be bought for $80-$100 US and will find the right wire in about 60 seconds. There's a sender you plug into the jack on the 'known' end and an inductive pickup you slide around the patch panel until you hear the distinctive signal.
