You ever see the LCD's on gas pumps? Are those big enough for you? Did a quick search on Digikey. They have one at 2.21" high (67-1507-ND), another at 2.99" high (67-1508-ND), and a third at 4.00" high (67-1509-ND). Could maybe find better and/or cheaper elsewhere.
