At a second look I see you're right. 32ppr opticals are 20-40 USD,
mechanicals are quite a lot cheaper and $3.30 is in the normal range for
low ppr. It's slightly cheaper than Mouser

I think if the price had still been 95c I'd have got a few and kept them
aside for an opportunity. If $5.01 is normal retail then I'd not look for
an excuse to buy them
