Connection here is very slow , so I prefer not downloading the MPASM manual , and the in line help is not giving the example I'm looking for. What I'm doing : IF myvariable = 5D MOVWL ....ect MPASM does not like the equal (=) symbol. MPASM does not like the equal (=3D) symbol.

Question : what is the correct syntax?
