I think that's a compliment :-) Google helps a lot of course. I have for many years (quite a few decades) considered "information acquisition" a major hobby/passion. I have a very strange mind (just ask my wife / friends / even James Newton who I stayed with while in USA:-) ) I like to pretend I have some of the abilities of Dune's Mentats (essentially quality decisions on less than necessary information), but my adult daughter likes to gleefully point out when I fail miserably and how often. I can walk downstairs and forget why I'm there by the time I arrive, but also recall copious details from decades ago. Many people do this but I seem to be more inclined both ways than many. Never know which mode any particular item is liable to fall into :-) Once you have a few zillion basic snippets in your brain Google is fantastic at chasing the detail down. (eg lamp efficiency thread - helps to know sulphur/sulfur bulbs exist as they are not overly main stream.) And I have especial enthusiasm for things space and technology related. Get onto music or arts and I may not be saying too much - unless it's what was wrong with their health or ... :-) But I really should cut back if my life is going to get into better order :-). 2:38am ! Bedtime. Church AGM 1pm tomorrow (today). Misc presentation preparation tasks to do in morning. RM -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
