Thanks for that - I saw the spec. sheet but I've found before now that these can be inaccurate on small measurements like this, as you say. That makes them pretty much the same size as the 3M version, and the problem is using them in other peoples' designs, rather than my own. I have a number of boards that would benefit from a ZIF socket but the 3M won't go in!
