Howard, The pins themselves are rectangular and measure 0.81mm at the widest point. (Although the spec sheet says 0.76mm) They fit into the holes standard on the prototype strip board I use fine however these holes are 1.1mm, I guess you'd have to do a layout with 1mm rather than 0.8mm holes.
