Dillons, WH Smith & Son, Waterstones and a book shop whose name I forget
that sells old books, near Leicester Square.

Maplin Electronics in Hammersmith also sell books see www.maplin.co.uk for
their list.

Smith's , will have very few, you'd need to look in the nursing section (and
that is not a mistype) , or reference dept.  Dillons who may have been
bought out by Smiths have a large selection of engineering books in their
Charing Cross store.

Note that Dillons is also the UK Amazon book store - so what you can get on
Amazon UK is also available or orderable from Dillons the real store.
