Hi:

The data sheet for the 18F1220 seems to indicate that the 4 times Phase
Lock Loop only operates with an external crystal in HS mode or you can
put in a 40 MHz external clock in EC mode.  But can I put in a 10 MHz
external clock into OSC1, with HS and PLL on and get a 40 MHz internal
clock speed?. Something would need to be done with OSC2, maybe just
leave it open?
