I don't know of any site that offers direct comparisons, but my Handspring Visor Deluxe was OS 3.1, and it's very comparable to newer models in the palm III series. The Treo's started at OS 3.5. My Tungsten E is OS 5. The Original Personal is probably version 1, maybe 2. AFAIK, the only real difference between 3.1 and 3.5 is that 3.5 allows buttons to have graphics on them while 3.1 is limited to text. Being able to support 3.1 opens a whole new world to this project by supporting the very ubiquitous palm III series. Jason From: "Lawrence Lile" Sent: Friday, August 20, 2004 7:44 AM Wow this is really cool! I note that the software requires PALMOS 3.5 or greater. I wonder how that translates into palm models? How old a model will work with PALMOS 3.5? The reason to ask is, old Palm Pilot Personal's and such vintage are really cheap on Ebay. Most go for less than $20, beats a serial LCD all to heck! -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The list server can filter out subtopics (like ads or off topics) for you. See http://www.piclist.com/#topics
