At one of my high school reunions, one of the guys there had gone into the construction management arm of Disney at DL in Anaheim. It was interesting to hear how much effort they go to in order to make sure park patrons have no idea that right behind that fake wall there's massive construction going on of a new exhibit or ride... It's funny how he thought the telecommunications world sounded interesting and I thought the "how to hide the big yellow bulldozer" world was interesting. It was a good reminder that it's always good to get out and see people you haven't seen in a while and see what they've been up to. Oh yeah... Chicago... if you're there for long enough to stop by for an afternoon, the main downtown public library is -- um, huge. Easy to get lost in there for hours looking up interesting things to read. -- Nate Duehr, nate@natetech.com -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
