I remember building a modem for my old Ohio Scientific C1P when I was
in college. A 300 baud FSK affair with acoustic coupler I salvaged from
somewhere. The first time I hooked up with a local BBS I was sure I was
a computer god (well my roomates thought so anyway... ;- ))

Hard to believe that was 25 years and more than half a lifetime ago.
