I remember seeing a past thread inquiring about third party device programmer support for dsPICs. It will be interesting to see more information and pricing regarding the yet-to-be released MACH X Programmer by CCS. - USB interface (no separate power supply) - PIC12, PIC14, PIC16, PIC16, and *dsPIC* - *Linux* and Windows support - ZIF socket and *ICSP* programming - Adjustable verify voltages (2V to 5.5V) - ICD debugger with their IDE - Push-button on unit for volume programming The only info I can find is from the ad in the latest issue of Circuit Cellar. It looks like a nice little unit. Best regards, Ken Pergola -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The list server can filter out subtopics (like ads or off topics) for you.
