One of the things that the single stepper does not handle well is macros. If
the code you are trying to step through is a macro with several
instructions, or a high level language instruction, then the pointer in the
window stays at the address of the first prom word of the macro or HLL
statement. This really is a right royal pain, especially when there is a
conditional step inside the macro.
