Yes, that seems to be the default method/idea everyone comes up with=20
initially.  I also did that for my early testing/feasibility stage.  The=20
additional power consumption from the inverter solution didn't much matte=
r to=20
me, but wanted the custom power supply since it was much smaller, cooler=20
(less heat) and cooler (ie: nifty :-)=20
