One problem with this is (beleive it or not) security, a corporation can't see what is in the email if it's encrypted, thus preventing them from taking corrective measures against coorporate espoinage. Military is the same, they allow telnet and ftp out, but no sh etc. They don't care that you are making a connection as long as they can see what you are doing. > The people that want to move forward after ten years of waiting on > other mail clients to "do the right thing"? :-) I think that's where I am waiting for the day where I have my USB flash drive and I plug it into the computer and email, https and ssh all realize there are some keys on it and uses them. Right now it has putty and peagent on it giving me ssh access to my kit at home, but it would be nice for it all to work properly. It probably won't happen for the reasons given above. -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline? Don't AutoReply us! email listserv@mitvma.mit.edu with SET PICList DIGEST in the body
