I applaud your efforts here to test the QOS for your dialup users. Very good idea. The best way to do it is *not* to try to modify the server in some unknown way; instead, test it like your users: dial in. If you do not have a box with a modem, simply post the url of the pages you want tested and ask piclist users on dialup if they would kindly time the download time and report same to you. Caveats: the user should know about clearing their cache so they actually get new data downloaded and they should know how to deteremine what connection speed their system has.
