Question One. Verify, by demonstration and observation, that hot
things really do burn. (10 marks)

Question Two. A man leaves the west side of The Octogan walking
at a constant 2.5mph. A second man leaves the east side of The
Octagon, starting at a constant speed of 2mph until he encounters
a fire pit, at which time his speed increases to a 8mph for 5 seconds,
then limping a circular course at 1.25mph for 20 seconds. How
many seconds until they meet and which one is the idiot ? (15 marks)
