Yes, you have the right person. The composition was called: 4'33" ("four
minutes, thirty-three seconds"). He was also a writer and he did write a
book called "Silence: Lectures and Writings".

I loved your joke pairing 4'33" and the "erase-all-command" -- that was
clever! :)
