I was looking for what PICs had serial port capabilities, i.e. usart, =
and the Microchip online line chart doesn't really give enough detail. =
You have to open each record to really see if it has got the usart.

Does anyone know of a 3rd party comparison chart with better detail?

And/or is there any PIC with 2 usarts?
