I'm wondering if going > down into I have two suggestions: If it's an Win9x type windows version, use a boot disk and delete it from the command prompt. You can create a boot disk (aka Startup Disk) in Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs->Startup Diskette. Then just leave it in the drive and restart the PC. If it's an NT type version of windows, you probably need to Take Ownership of the file first, then you can delete it. There's an option for Take Ownership somewhere in the Properties window (ie. right click file and click properties).
