On a different subject re F88:

I have need of a low-end DAC, and I am buffering RA2 with a
buffer-follower so it won't be swamped. What I am wondering is:
can I have A/D conversions on RA0 and RA1 (not using the comparator at
all) while using VRCON's VREF output onn RA2? Looking at the I/O port
schematic of RA2 it would appear so, but does anybody know? F88 is a new
one to me.
