I and others found both of the above to be terribly non-intuitive, different in their concepts, and not at all difficult to misuse. The easiest way if I remember rightly was to get a copy of the stored source on top of the one you've been working on locally, thus wiping out all the changes you've done. I can't remember exactly what they did, but it wasn't difficult and and it didn't warn you that it is just about to do the very thing it's designed to stop...
