Digikey lists the 2343 at 3.40 for the variants they have in stock.
$2.40 for another dip version.

The tiny-26 is a better deal at the moment, about $2.50 and a lot more bang for the buck, if you don't mind the extra pins.

Mega-8, bunch of variants around $3.50
