I think at that speed you may find it valuable to choose a "convenient" oscillator frequency; for example, 3.6864 MHz, which gives you a "no- error" BRG value. Otherwise, I'm using it right now. I'm actually finding it a little tougher on the PIC side to deal with the data coming from the PC, but that really only becomes an issue with large writes (tens or hundreds of bytes), and then only rarely depending on what you want to do with the data.
