SUMMARY: Does anyone else want to be added to my around-the-world-in-60-days photo email lists? _____________ PICLIST CC others While we're talking about travelling in Europe .... In March this year I started sending out emails with pictures from our 25 country / 60 day around the world whirlwind tour. Anyone interested was welcome to receive them - quite a few PICListers and numerous others took up the offer - there are currently about 50 people on the lists. Anyone else who wishes to receive them is welcome to do so. Ask (offlist) and your name shall be added. Name deleted instantly anytime on request. Names never disclosed to anyone. I've slowed down from my 1+ per day to 5 or 6 per week. Two lists available. "Random Photos" are 100k - 250k range, typically 150-200k, photos reduced to fit size, usually 1, perhaps 1 main plus a smaller wider view for context, sometimes a number of smaller ones. One every day or two. Very occasionally 2 per day. "Big Photos". 1MB typical. 600k - 1300k usually. Can be 2MB very occasionally. Probably only 1 per week at present but this may increase again. Each will have some text (which you can ignore). Sometimes a few words - sometimes a page of description or comment. Topics are whatever takes my fancy. My screensaver presents samples and sometimes I go looking for others. Can be landscape, quirky, pretty, interesting, engineering or whatever. Last few include: - Lock your bike Amsterdam extreme bicycle locking precautions. - A city on a hill can not be hidden Italian hilltop village with caves in cliffs. - Under the bridges of Venice What they are hiding under the surface (engineering services!) - Most decorated The inside of the most over decorated church I have ever seen. (Most amazing). - The wall A remaining section of the Berlin Wall. etc Russell McMahon -- http://www.piclist.com#nomail Going offline?
