Someone was recently asking about large capacity ram chips.

These were in the low power static ram table. Other sizes and types

Never tried them, just saw an advert in a UK news sheet about them and went
looking, so do not know what availability or price is like, but they look
like the sort of device to use for a ram disk drive or similar use. Might
see about getting some to use in a diskless Linux firewall that boots off
compact flash.
