Ha ha   My original question certainly went off
in a strange direction.

I really wanted to know a reliable way to
detect emergency vehicles with their flashers
on.  I had no plans to simulate an emergency vehicle.

If I detect emergency vehicles will I get in trouble ?
Are there laws against this ?
