What is your configuration word set to? I disable it in my parts. Then in my initialization code, I set the pin to an output. The pin is getting used for other functions. I also am programming with the ICD2. -----Original Message----- From: pic microcontroller discussion list [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU]On Behalf Of Peter Moreton Sent: Tuesday, June 15, 2004 3:28 PM To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: Re: [PIC] PIC18F452 LVP pin needs to be tied low? That is my experience also; I have hundreds of 'F452 boards in the field, all with a floating RB5, all programmed fine with a standard Microchip ICD-2. Mind you, I'll be putting a 10k from RB5 to GND on the next rev of the pcb... > -----Original Message----- > From: pic microcontroller discussion list > [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU] On Behalf Of Tom > Sent: 15 June 2004 18:39 > To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU > Subject: Re: [PIC] PIC18F452 LVP pin needs to be tied low? > > > At 12:01 PM 6/15/04 -0400, you wrote: > >> >Subject: Re: [PIC] PIC18F452 LVP pin needs to be tied low?> > >> > > >> >LVP on!
