Each entity gets to choose what it imports or stocks.
Just like Sony.ca. I cannot get a 'Canadian' version of their
multistandard VCR (and lots of other high end toys) because
the Canadian company doesn't carry it. And if I import it, I have
NO WARRANTY. Basically the company (Sony, Nikon, Canon, etc.)
refuses to service a product from which THEY didn't get a profit,
even though their parent company did. What a scam.

That's what garage sale e-junk if for. Lots of great stuff in
a dead VCR you can get for a buck.

I guess that explains why people buy their stuff. I won't call it
junk because some of it is decent. Brand name even.
And they have more 'prosumer' stuff than Active (like scanners & antennas
for example).
