But RadioShaft Canada is OWNED by their US parent, so technically you'd be supporting a US company. Unlike Sony Canada, which really is owned by a Canadian company (GenDis Inc.). Unfortunately RadioShaft has enough undiscriminating customers to keep them in business. In addition to which they account for more than 50% of Rogers cellular phone sales. As long as Joe average is willing to pay their inflated prices for what they sell, they'll stay in business. At least the salesdroid at R/S -MAY- have a clue when you ask a technical question. Those at Walmart are clueless, as are most at FutureShop or Best Buy. Surprisingly, I have found the computer people at London Drugs to be very knowledgeable, and competitively priced, and with a good return policy, so they get most of my 'quicky' business.
