For me this line of reasoning isn't logical.  It is thinking that things =
done should be for the good of the whole (society) as opposed to =
everything for the good of the individual.  I think societal harmony =
lies in a careful balance between the two.  If I think to myself, is =
this good for me AND the people around me, then I come up with better =
decisions.
