the best bet is always to download the datasheet from the part manufacturer (they may have a separate file/link for the package info) and compare that to what someone says is the outline you think might be similar. especially with surface it's a real pain if things are wrong once the boards made (i've been bitten by this once with through hole fuse holders, we didn't have any on hand and i had to calculate/guestimate the layout for the 2 end pieces with a fuse in, needless to say i put them a little too close together though it worked if they were slanted a bit, but not good, but we were in a hurry to have boards). > On Sunday 13 June 2004 09:24 am, Jim Tellier scribbled: > > I'm about to use Eagle for the first time... and, as Murphy would have it, > > the part that I'm using isn't in their libraries.
