Communicams seem to trickle through regularly and are not overly expensive
by themselves.
This probably due to the inclusion of cameras within newer phones and the
uselessness of the camera in any other context - unless one learns how to
use them stand alone. Google knows heaps about the camera, but I could find
nothing to suggest that anyone has used them for other purposes.
