I have not done it personally, so I can't give you the ins and outs, but you
might want to investigate a general technique called slipstreaming:

It might take some time up front, but it may save time later on if you ever
need to re-install Windows XP again. Perhaps someone on this list who has
experience with slipstreaming can offer their comments.
