My friend, when money is exchanging hands, location doesn't matter. However don't panic. Come on back and explain what's happening. Maybe someone on the list can offer a simple fix. BTW just curious: why is getting a bootloader for the 819 so critical? One last thing: you are using an external crystal or resonator right? The nanowatt internal oscillator is subject to drift, so there are no guarantees that it'll remain stable enough for async serial interfacing.
