Projects I would like to do, but cannot seem to get around to:

Programmable Thermostat control for my home heat pump.

Programable Thermostat control to auto-start an automobile to assure
tolerable conditions for animals (dogs) on board. Police cars just leave
them run, but there have been occaisions where the vehical has been left in
an unsafe situation.

Automatic mixture control for model aircraft engines. Many otherwise good
engines seem to suffer from a mid-range rich condition. Carburator design
seems more art than science.

Fully programmable RC transmitter. The current models are great but you have
to bend your use to their characteristics. The RF section is a separate
issue, the initial effort should be in the Ham bands. Current encoding
schemes or a new system altogether to be considered.
